The Detox bar is formulated with activated charcoal, peppermint essential oil and tea tree essential oil to unclog pores, deeply cleanse skin and fight acne causing bacteria.

This bar has a refreshing peppermint and tea tree aroma from the essential oils
No added dyes or colorants. This bar gets its natural black color from the activated charcoal.
This product is NOT vegan due to Goats Milk in the soap base
Always paraben and sulfate free
This soap bar comes in a cotton biodegradable soap bag which should be used to hang dry soap in between uses (helps bar last longer)

How To Use:

FACE: gently massage bar into wet face for 10 seconds, then put bar down and massage lather into skin for 30 seconds. Rinse with cool water. ALWAYS follow up water-based, hydrating serums/moisturizers like our Body Serum and Boost Jelli.

BODY: Use with loofa or african net for best lather

SOAP CARE: To get the most out of your Body’d Soap create a rich lather with water and a loofah or african net. Your hands or a washcloth will not create as much of a lather. In between uses, store high and dry in the biodegradable, reusable cotton pouch that each soap bar comes in.

FAQ:

I have more pimples after using this! What happened?
Due to the high percentage of activated charcoal in the formula, skin purging may occur and is actually a good thing. This means the soap is doing its job of increasing cell turnover rate, which in the end exposes fresh skin cells underneath to reveal clearer skin. But, before these new skin cells surface, all the buildup in your pores has to rise to the top. This is why you may have more pimples. Over time and with proper care, the new pimples will diminish leaving you with clearer skin.

How often can I use this?
Using this bar excessively may lead to dry skin. It is recommended to use once a day if you have oily-combination skin and once every two days if you have normal-dry skin. Always follow up with a good hydrating serum (like our Body Serum which contains hyaluronic acid) and a hydrating water based moisturizer (like our Boost Jelli).

Can I use this on my face if my skin is sensitive?
There is a percentage of essential oils in this formula which may be too strong for very sensitive skin types. All of our essential oils are skin safe and typically do not irritate sensitive skin types. But, if your skin is very sensitive to essential oils/fragrance please patch test before use. If irritation occurs, discontinue use.
